Note the irony... Al Qaeda planned and ordered the attack on 9/11 from Afghanistan, in which we went in there and rooted them out along with the enabling Taliban. It was a legitimate reason to go in, we had every right, and yet this is the one we needed to leave?
Iraq, despite the insistence that it was an "unjust extension to the GWOT" and that we should pull out, we are still there (thanks to Trump by the way, going against the actions of his predecessor), fighting yet another terror faction (which has roots in the Al Qaeda faction).
As another poster inaccurately stated, Biden allows the military leaders to make the decisions. Sorry, but that's BS. He just hasn't decided Iraq is worth making yet another political and military blunder (yet) as Obama almost did (well, actually... did). If Biden listened to the military leaders with regards to military decisions and recommendations, we would still be fighting alongside the legitimate government of Afghanistan, keeping the Taliban at bay.
