MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D.
My mom had three brothers and a brother-in-law in the Corps. The brother-in-law was in amphibious ordnance and was in from '42-'71. He then became a GS-13 at Pendleton. One of her brothers was on a 3-inch gun crew captured on Wake Island. He spent 44 months as a POW in Shanghai, China, and Hokkaido, Japan, doing forced labor in coal mines. After the war he remained in the Corps made gunny and was medically retired in '55.

MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. - Good Lord he is lucky he survived if he is still alive shake his hand for me, please. My dad was in Korea he never talked about it until I went to war the first time. Only time I ever saw him get emotional was when I hugged him. My brother from Vietnam was the same way he was Infantry as well, He told me keep my head down or I would get my ass shot off. LOL
