German built World War II era locomotives are still in service in Bosnia. Five of them are still used.
Some were built by concentration camp prisoners.
Interesting to see that both coal and nuclear are used in those countries..
The Church of the Green New Deal doesn't like coal nor does it like nuclear.

The Green Church wants unreliable , intermittent available energy. Like wind mills and solar. Etc. or electric - which needs gas or coal to power generators!... in other words, unreliable , and costly and low yield energy. But, they will take gas and electricity to make them. California is already restricting use of electricity with brown outs, their grid can't take the demand on energy... the plants aren't able to produce because of costs.
Some Texas residents had a chilly winter because their grid was using wind farms and it was not reliable- no wind, no energy produced.
Before the augmenting / replacing a percentage of the Texas Grid with wind-farms things were normal and no real concern of the reliability came up.

LTC (Join to see) we saw , through chance winds of the radioactivity and its effects from Chernobyl meltdown, of 1 reactor; it poisoned everything on the ground and the area it passed over World Wide. As well as making it around the Globe once over the town is a waste land, there is grass and weeds still highly radioactive. The animals are " forgetful " about that and venturing through the restricted areas eating other animals and grasslands as well as any water sources. Then they amble elsewhere contaminating their path and new areas are showing a degree of radioactivity.
Limited engagement Nuclear War is a losing proposition.
It gives the illusion of being less dangerous than it is because we " Aren't Using all the missiles"
Giving us a false sense of security that it would not be as dangerous.
Tell that to the Residents of Chernobyl, and Fukushima, Three Mile Island,...

LTC (Join to see) the Super Powers will watch with gilded glee . They need to see what any small amount of Nuclear exchanges will do in practice. They have only info from Nevada and Bikini Atoll type explosions.
A limited exchange in Practicum would give the Powers that be something to plan for/ prepare for their more unlimited exchanges.
It will give them a measuring bar as to what to expect " If" .
