I get it. They're hearts may be in the right place. (But monkey alert) But we don't need new laws carving out special perogatives for defined groups. How about we enforce laws already in place? How about this same interest for all American citizens? How about all new laws have both a zipper clause and a sunset clause? How about the congress setting about reviewing all past laws and zippering and sunsetting them? How about no law sunsetted longer than 10 years? How about most laws sunsetted in five years? How about ending any practice, reg, or law that is based on balkanization of the body of citizens?

Same act can be tried numerous times, and even turned RICO. Let that fraudster spend a felony for defrauding a disabled person, a felony for defrauding the elderly, a felony for defrauding a veteran, via The State, then, turn the Feds loose and let them tack on more.
