I recently viewed a YouTube video where a liquor store manager called the police about a grossly obvious drunk who drove up and parked out front. The police wanted to see the store's video to document that the guy drove ... and he was so obviously intoxicated. The manager had to call the store owners to access the surveillance system- either brothers or partners sho showed up.
Both began to SCREAM at the officer and denied access to the video. One screamed, "You guys sit across the road and WE LOSE CUSTOMERS!"
WHAT? I owned a business, and I LOVED seeing cops parked outside. NORMAL people see cops as the good guys. (The laundromat a few doors from my store, was a haven for drug deals and the parking lot for users.) The ONLY reason those two idiots could've been upset, would be that the MUST be doing something illegal. Hell, if I owned a liquor store, I'd gladly PAY for cops to sit nearby!
This anti-police rhetoric from the left is insane! The, "Thin Blue Line," used to signify that the police stood between, and protected the citizens from lawlessness. Today's liberals and the media have tried to change ti to mean it's a wall cops build to hide behind their misdeeds ... BULL. Yes, there are bad officers, but NO ONE hates a bad officer, more than the good officers!
