2022 Edelman Trust Barometer

Who do you trust? The survey asked about four main institutions: Business, Government, Media and Non-governmental organizations (NGOs). It found that of those four, the only institution people trusted was Business — which was at 62% worldwide. The military? When Nixon was President, he became paranoid often speaking of "sinister forces" and it seemed that senior military leaders would support martial law. Fortunately for America, few company grade officers were so inclined. I wonder which way the military would swing today. How many on active duty fell for the description of the Jan 6 circle jerk as an "insurrection"?
