This is the sick and ugly side of socialism. Food shortages, long lines, fear of being arrested for making any complaints about the system or the shortages as said by people in this video.

Cuba was part of the communist c o m e c o n so once the Wall came down and communism fell apart, Cuba was Sierra out of luck!

We have friends from Cuba. I know a retired NCO from the CAARNG who had his father's tobacco Plantation seized by the Castro for government. His Dad spent some time in jail and they eventually immigrated to South America and were able to get to the USA by 1965. My friend then was in the 82nd Airborne before joining the Army Reserve and later the Army National guard.

Cuba is like this in Venezuela is going this way too. This is not the Utopia that Bernie Sanders dreams about.
