Ashli Babbitt's Mother Arrested Outside US Capitol

So she was arrested for jaywalking. Actually for blocking traffic and not having a demonstration permit as she was protesting on the anniversary of her daughter's death. She was arrested, booked, and released with a citation for a court date in the future.

I'll bet there hadn't been an arrest for blocking traffic issued in weeks in DC.

MAJ., This is a Travesty To Justice and a Shameful Display of Unprofessional Misconduct by police. How big a coincidence was when this was done to the Grieving Mother of the only person killed ( an unarmed woman and Veteran) in the Capitol on the second year anniversary date of her murder. Meanwhile, there are still Political Prisoners still locked up without charges and poor medical conditions for just being in the area, after Two Years! While instigators such as Ray Epps remains Free. When will there be Justice for these American political Prisoners and Patriots???? There was no Insurrection or conspiracy by them. The people that needs to answer to charges for the security of The Nations Capitol (such as Pelosi, DC Police Chief and Capitol Police, Federal Agencies, etc… Trump offered to send troops on standby way before the 6th but was refused by Pelosi and Police Chief. This Injustice Needs to Stop Now and We The People Need To Demand Answers, especially after the do nothing January 6th unselect committee came up with nothing after two years. Just my humble opinion! I love the "no protest permit" laws.

You know where my permit is? 1st Amendement. That pretty much covers all of this and similar.

Remember, 1A isn't just religion, speech, and press. It is also peaceable assembly and redress of grievances.

Quite simply put, flowing the letter of the Constitution the government CANNOT place a permit requirement to protest.

Of course, they also cannot put a permit requirement to keep and bear arms, and we know how well that works....
