I've been to the Navajo museum in Arizona. Amazing. Most of us have no appreciation of their culture

Lt Col Charlie Brown Though I'm in the region, I have yet to visit that Museum. Looking forward to it though. I find the territory that is Navajo Nation to be exceedingly beautiful. I guess it is considered to be desert . . . however seems to me the stark beauty of being able to see the unfolding of earth's history by simply looking at the terrane is beyond compare. The mythology/history/oral history and traditions associated with geological features also inform us of some of what happened that created the landscape . . . perhaps also informing us of people being around on earth a lot longer than we used to imagine.

SFC Bernard Walko - Lovely folks, aren't they. Warm, welcoming, great sense of humor, deep sense of history, for starters. Traditional food, it's history and evolution, is good too!
Many Pueblos/tribes in NM - each with unique perspectives, also a similar spirituality associated with humanities place on earth. It's that way throughout the states, though, so many tribes, with similarities and different from one another.
