3 years ago, the United States was energy independent and actually exporting oil and energy abroad.
My shares of Canadian Suncor and Cenovus are up 16.3% and 26.5% while most stocks are down 30% or more in 2022 due to uncertainty and inflation brought by the Biden Administration injecting trillions into the economy fostering the recession we are heading for in 2023. If Biden had stayed in the basement in 2021 to the Present, we would not be in this situation because the Trump Era rules and regulations were giving the USA a 1.2% inflation (Not 6% or more) and we had a 6% growth rate unlike now.

The United States can use Canada as an energy partner if it chooses to but instead it detests and regulates energy like this and lately the Biden administration prefers to buy oil from Venezuela.

Sure, we have existing pipelines and rail access to Canadian Oil but we can't increase our capacity with the existing technology without President Biden approving new Pipelines.

That won't happen but he will approve the USA buying oil from corrupt Venezuela and shipping it by supertanker to the USA creating even more carbon dioxide.

Canada has the fifth largest oil Reserve in the world. Last year, Facebook censored me when I said that Canada was only one of the top five oil Reserve countries in the world and the only one with a democracy. The United States is not in the top 5.

The Biden Administration prefers the 'not in my back yard' (NIMBY) approach to fixing an energy problem.
