This National Guardsman tore through Ranger, Airborne, and Air Assault schools in a single year

This would not be news if more Guard soldiers were given the opportunity to try all three. While Air Assault is pretty common and there are more Guard Ranger slots than when I was in, Airborne seats in the Guard are still extremely rare.
I am impressed that he didn't recycle any phase of Ranger School.

Truly impressive

I resent that Guard Bums comment too. I've seen the 2/116th Cav. train on several occasions and they damned good tankers and have done a couple rotations overseas. What this young man did is nothing short of phenomenal for any soldier let alone a Guard member or Reservist on less than active duty. That he did it right out of OSUT is even more incredible. I don't know what his Specialty is but I think Kick Ass and Get Shit Done should be at the top of the list. He is one BMF in my book.
