Used to be many Hollywood folks had served but went out of favor during Viet Nam.

"To Sir With Love" was really good. My favorite also from 1967 was "In the Heat of the Night" ...... "They call me MR. Tibbs" was a classic line and it had one of the best theme songs ever.
