MSG Stan Hutchison - Absolutley in taxpayer buildings...the establishment clause permits free execise of religion without government intrusion...that includes governement taxpayer funded facilities. If you or I want to pray we can outloud anytime anywhere. If folks don't want to hear it then walk away or plug your ears or spout your prayers to your God...that is your right but the founding fathers put that in there specifically so that the government will not esablish a preferable religion or keep folks from freely exercising it. As far as sporting events I beleive there ought to be a moment of silnece for folks to pray in their own religion quietly or not pray at all but it should be offered.

The Constitution was written for a moral and religious society. Our oldest forbearers fled Europe for religious freedom, and almost every signatory to the Declaration of Independence, and later the Constitution were Christians or deists. Religious ethics are woven into the Constitution, and the deity is referenced many times in the Declaration. Also, there is no such thing as separation of church and state, a lie perpetrated by the Pagan, utilitarian Left. Congress employs a paid chaplain who gives an invocation before each session of Congress and on other occasions - paid for with OUR tax dollars. Don't let your discrimination against religious people cloud your common sense judgement or the letter and intent of our Founding Documents.

Yes, this nation was founded by mostly religious men, but we have a long history of religious intolerance between the sects.

MSG Stan Hutchison - There is no such thing as separation of church and gov't. And it wouldn't matter if only one person wanted to freely exercise their right to express their religion in public, or in a public building. The Constitution says that it is protected speech.
