I do find it interesting that many of the climate activists and government leaders advocating for "saving the planet" are transiting by the use of private jet.
One of the funniest sets of dialogue from Congress was when one particular Congresswoman stated that planes needed to be banned (for reasons of climate change). Upon hearing this, a senator from Hawaii (who was also an advocate for climate change) hearing the Congresswoman's statement gave her opinion using some very choice words.
Many of the climate change advocates seem very sincere in their beliefs, but they seem to be nowhere to be found when leading by example.
An old saying states, "follow the money". If this adage is heeded, then it certainly seems that climate change ideology is just a method of wealth transfer from "the haves" to the "have nots" (with a very LONG stop at the government first). As a lifelong student of history, this method of class warfare can be found in the texts of Karl Marx, Lenin, and various other communist revolutionaries throughout history.
All of this reminds me of "The Wizard of Oz" - "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!"
