Thanks for sharing this, as COVID remains as something not to take lightly!

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL At what cost to morale is this going to be? Being ordered to take a vaccine against your will and better judgement is not going to help with recruitment. I don't care what anyone says, I am not going to get it. It has not been proven and I know plenty who got all the shots and still got COVID. I didn't get the shots and never got it despite being in contact with over eighty students a day in the classroom and hundreds per day in the hallway between classes.

Cpl Vic Burk - So the rapidly declining death rate after the implementation of the vaccines isn't sufficient enough evidence for you? If not, there's nothing anyone can say or do about that mindset. You can point to "the government" as the source of your skepticism, but anyone should be able to see the evidence right in front of their eyes...if they want to. And, the vast majority of that efficacy evidence (that I directed you to) did not come from the government. It came from objective researchers who have devoted their careers to assessing the effectiveness of vaccines. People ignore that evidence at their own peril.
I hope you can continue to dodge the virus.

LTC Kevin B. - Before COVID hit the big death toll in the news due to illness was the flu. Then COVID hits. During the hype of the COVID thing just about everyone who died (according to the media) did so as a result of COVID, very few claims of it being from the flu any longer. Now that people are sick of hearing about COVID, it's back to being the flu as the major cause of death. What also isn't being recognized is how many of the "COVID" deaths were of those whose immune system was already compromised due to other health conditions, and COVID was the final straw the same as if it were the flu.
As I said, I'll take my chances and if I die from it, it was my time to go.

PO1 Jeff Chandler - Do you think the Covid vaccines were given to people after they had already contracted Covid? That is an incorrect interpretation. And, vaccines have always mitigated the effects of contracting an illness. Not all vaccines make you bulletproof. Some of them are given in the absence of an illness in order to help your body learn how to fight off illnesses once you catch them. You need to educate yourself (or ask someone to educate you).

I guess the military today really has changed. When I served, there was no question. When you were due a shot, you got the shot. Period.
