Illegal border crossings to US from Mexico hit annual high

A surge in migration from Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua in September brought the number of illegal crossings to the highest level ever recorded in a fiscal year, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Migrants were stopped 227,547 times in September at the U.S. border with Mexico, the third-highest month of Joe Biden’s presidency. It was up 11.5% from 204,087 times in August and 18.5% from 192,001 times in September 2021. In the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, migrants were stopped 2.38 million times, up 37% from 1.73 million times the year before, according to figures released late Friday night. The annual total surpassed 2 million for the first time in August and is more than twice the highest level during Donald Trump’s presidency in 2019.

SPC (Join to see) - You can say that again but the die hard Dems won't admit that Biden has done anything but a great job. Furthermore, some even claim he will go down in history as one of the greatest presidents ever. They forgot two words in that sentence. "He will go down in history as one of the greatest "Fu*c ups" as president ever." He has sold our country out to every country in the world.

I assume you're joking.
How about we secure the border, enforce the laws on the books, and for legitimate asylum claimers, give the person a timely hearing (news flash to many - everyone that comes to his country to an illegal manner is NOT a legitimate asylum seeker). Now, if you're talking about drug/human smugglers .. well ... I might have a looser interpretation of the ROE/ROF in that case.

COL Randall C. - No, I'm not. How long would it take for word to spread that they could die, from illegal entry? That would cause most of them to remain in Mexico, unless they wanted to die. Remember Kent State? How many college riots happened, after that? I have no problem with legal immigration, but I do with invading hordes.
