A core measure of consumer-price growth notched a new 40-year high in September, exceeding economists' expectations and dashing hopes for a break in the Federal Reserve’s battle against inflation. Prices for items excluding gas and groceries rose an annual 6.6% after 6.3% in August, while the overall index moderated only slightly, to 8.2% from 8.3%, the Labor Department said. With core prices maintaining a monthly 0.6% pace of growth — and prices overall jumping 0.4% in the month after 0.1% in August — the case for a fourth jumbo rate increase by the Fed next month seemed all but closed.

Well 2 consecutive quarters of negative growth has and will always be the definition of a recession. To much word smithing doesn't change what is.

Are the Democrats blind to what is going on in our Country? Just can't understand their "LOGICAL REASONING" for not leaving the Democratic Party. What is their personal tangible justification because we all know the opposite is pure stupidity and there have to be a few of the 80,000,000 people who voted for Bidon who can be considered intelligent enough to figure this out.
