It's too bad good barbeque joints aren't available in a greater number of places, I love that sort of food. Something I do enjoy when i can find the places. One good thing though My oldest son is very talented in that area so at least once in a while I can get things like that. There certainly are places with a lot of good food in New England, especially seafood for example but not many barbeque joints and when one comes around they don't seem to last here.

I kept being told about a place near Ft. Rucker, when I was stationed there. To hear it, it was the finest BBQ ever made. It tasted terrible, and it made me sick. It was at least a decade before I tried BBQ again. It might be some of the spices used, but I've never had good results with it.

SPC Michael Terrell - My Wife doesn't care much for that type of food but then She is a picky eater anyway, I'm not, I'll eat just about anything. She doesn't like strong spicy flavors, I do. Barbeque is not for everyone like a lot of foods aren't I guess either You like it or You don't, I do ! Seems also I have more of a cast iron stomach than She does which I'm sure also makes a difference.

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter - I simply can't eat a lot of types of food. I have to stay away from anything with vinegar in it, unless I want to camp out with my head over a bucket, for days.

I haven't had any BBQ, this millennium. The places I tried weren't that good., so I stopped looking.
