I agree in that Hospitals are no longer interested in helping patients, they are more focused on profit.

And to be honest it goes even further than that...a lot of the "older" blood pressure meds work as well and are safer and cheaper than the new ones but it's tough to get those prescribed anymore

I think this is true across the board. When my mom got COVID at the beginning of it, they didn’t know what it was and treated her with two IV ‘s full of antibiotics. My mom’s face was gray and her lips were blue…. I thought she was going to die. Within an hour, she was better, talking and such. They let her home in 2 days. Everyone in my family caught it. We were sick but stayed home. Came through it without medical intervention.

And for respiratory issues one of the best ways to help is to put patients on their stomachs but that makes it hard for the medical staff so they don't do it.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - I caught a severe case of Pneumonia when I was in my early teens. By the time I saw our family doctor. the hospital's admittance office was closed. So, I had to see our doctor again on Monday, then go to the hospital. I spent the weekend laying face down on my old wooden US Army surplus bunkbed, coughing up phlegm into my trashcan. By Monday, there were no signs that I had been sick. It confused the crap out of our old doctor. This was in the early '60s

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Our family doctor was probably in his 60s, in the '60s so the field was not as well trained as today. Like doctors who kept prescribing DES to pregnant women, in spite of the FDA banning it, because it was proven not to prevent miscarriages, while causing birth defects.
