Records imply Portland police slow-walked high profile homicide case

Portland police quickly obtained key evidence in the 2019 killing of anti-fascist Sean Kealiher, but waited more than two years to arrest the suspect, according to investigative file documents obtained by OPB.
For more than two years, the Portland Police Bureau has insisted its detectives diligently investigated the 2019 killing of a well-known anti-fascist activist.
Those claims now appear shakier than ever.
New records obtained by OPB through a public records appeal show police collected significant evidence at the scene of the crime that pointed to a clear suspect just days after the homicide.
Portland police spoke to the main suspect, Christopher Knipe, in the days after the killing of Sean Kealiher. They also had likely obtained surveillance footage implicating Knipe more than two years before officers arrested him on Aug. 4.

We should all remember that in most postings (including mine) the reader for the most part is only being exposed to a skewed version of the issue at hand. I cannot purge my postings or arguments from the opinions that are already deeply seated in my belief system. I am nowhere as clever as I from time to time think I am. If my arguments strike a cord in the reader it is only because I believe in what I am writing or we share beliefs in common. Regrettably belief isn't a guarantee of correctness.

When did 'antifascist' become a title?
For that matter, who among the patriotic American citizenry isn't opposed to fascism in practice or in name? The same should also be applied to Communism and militant Socialism. All three of these political movements are antithetical to to the nation as originally envisioned by the Founding Fathers.
Among other things that true patriots would naturally be against would be:
1) The use of Federal Law Enforcement as a quazi-secret political paramilitary force.
2) The weaponization of Executive Branch Agencies including the DOJ.
3) The purging of the armed forces and agencies of all dissent.
4) Use of warrants in a manner for which they were not intended.
5) Governmentally supported wholesale violations of the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 26th Amendments to the Constitution of the United States.
