US forces remember POWs killed on Hill 303 during Korean War

After being captured during the Battle of Pusan Perimeter, 46 American soldiers were marched to a ravine on Aug. 17, 1950, and killed. Only five soldiers managed to survive the ordeal.

This is like what they do at the cemeteries in Europe, only there the graves have been adopted by grateful citizens, and maintained by that family generation to generation MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D.

We Honor our fallen heroes and this wreath laying ceremony at Wagewan is clearly evidence of our values. Hill 303 was a major operation that concluded in a massacre. R.I.P to those heroes who were martyred on Hill 303 in the ROK during the Korean Conflict.
