The US navy is putting 5 guided Missile cruisers in the decommissioned reserve fleet. The cutting back of our US navy defense budget but they sure have plenty of money for 'Energy Security/Climate Change' ( $369 billion hidden in plain sight in the Orwellian 'Inflation Reduction Act' bill now going through Congress) that will go down the toilet with a limited nuclear war.
A limited nuclear war would cause 20 years of slightly cooler climate, famine and a very short growing season.
The $369 billion dollars for Energy Security/Climate Change could be best used to increase our defense budget and keep our military strong.
Unfortunately, the Church of the Green New Deal has hijacked the US government and President Biden keeps saying that climate change is the biggest threat to the US.
The other threats from Russia, China and North Korea don't get the same emphasis like they should and this may have been done by design.
Never mind that China and India continue to build coal-fired power plants and the hardware being purchased for the Church of the Green New Deal is made with electricity produced be produced by coal in China.
A couple of you were laughing at me when I did the Survey 6 months ago about will President Biden defend Taiwan.
I remember reading in a 1997 or 1998 Issue of The Officer magazine warning that Communist China was going from defensive to an offensive military.
China just finished their 3rd aircraft Carrier and they are halfway done with their 4th one.. I believe they will be using those 4 aircraft carriers to screen a defense to keep us away from Taiwan when they take back that province probably before or after the 2024 election.
The firing of missiles over Taiwan and near Japan Could be posturing by the People's Republic of China Or it could be a precursor to an eventual invasion Of Taiwan. President Biden has not shown good leadership and I believe Communist China feels now is the time to move on Taiwan.
