Yes, we have a habit if electing the town idiot, in Pelosi's case she apparently was the town drunk, to Congress. I don't know why. It really passes me off we can't get really decent thinkers and doers there.

Think about the choices we used to have and the ones we have now. What's different? Democracy. We replaced the smoke-filled room process of nominating candidates with the "democratic" process...

CPT Jack Durish Thats true to some extent. But even through our history we've had Biden's and Wu's (an Oregon gift with mental issues to Congress) and Ocasio Cortez' before. Now we just have so many more of them in DC. Bernie Sanders never had any ype of long term employment until he got into Congress. Now he's an almost permanent feature with no hope of being ousted.
