My wife had an Uncle that was a code talker. He never came back although he was not listed as KIA or MIA.

Wondering if there is some way the museum can be in cooperation with the National Park Service. There are a number of Navajo Code Talker memorials, monuments, and statues. The Navajo nation takes a lot of deserved pride in those who volunteered. Many who served, since, choose the Marines as a tradition. Apparently, there are a number of very local Navajo Code Talker Museums. Wondering if they could become a Code Talker consortium.

"Ultimately, approximately 534 American Indian code talkers were deployed in World War II. The U.S. Marine Corps, which operated the largest code-talking program, sent approximately 420 Diné (Navajo) language speakers to help win the war in the Pacific."
