This July 15th APOD ('Lubovna Full Moon') should be additionally pleasing to the shutterbugs here. A 'green flash' occurs because the Earth's atmosphere can cause light separate, or refract, into different colors. The red edges around the clouds and Moon itself are part of the same phenomena. Do you see the green flash?
