Its a shame that Police have been treated by the courts, in my mind it explains at least a little of how the police reacted in this case. As long as Officers actions are not egregious, as in the George Floyd case, they should be given the benefit of the doubt.

Geoge Floyd was a waste of good oxygen. The SOB had just threatened a pregnant woman by holding a loaded .38 against her tummy and and threatened to kill her and her unborn baby. He was trying unsuccessfully to pass a counterfeit 20 dollare bill and was floating around with three or four different illegal drugs in his system. It's crazy how much more respectable a life time criminal and his family become after the City of Mpls awards 24 million dollars to the family of this jerk. Then the whole liberal world turns out and they fly his body all over the country conducting memorial services for him. I hope he enjoyed flying at 36,000 ft while they prepped for another memorial service because that's the highest his body will ever get. He's was destined to go to hell and I am sure he made it.

SFC Jim Ruether - Does not mean he is not entitled to due process, nor Police Abuse. I am not defending George Floyd, the world is better off without the likes of him in it, but the fact that he was a criminal does not negate his rights under the law.

Twenty years ago being a police officer was a rewarding career opportunity. No way in Hades I would do the job again today. Officers today are often put in "no win" situations no matter what action they take or don't take.
That being said, there is absolutely NO justification for the lack of response from Uvalde law enforcement. I don't care what orders the Chief did/didn't give there is no way I could have just stood by with my thumb up my fourth point of contact while an active shooter was indiscriminately murdering innocent lives.

This always the result, with Leftist leaning Judges. They legislate from the bench. NOT their lane!
Police Officers should not have to request qualified immunity on split second decisions.
