Police are tired of not being respected like they once were, but a few bad apples caused that, and the way the current admin is, things will get far worse , and it will take a long time for this country to heal sister Sgt (Join to see)

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth I think the problematic “few bad apples” have been in the modern Democrat party and they purposely (*consider why*) fueled nationwide hatred of the Law Enforcement.

I hear you, but having gone through the Vietnam era civilian respect for the military not sure I completely buy it. Kind of falls into the easy excuse category IMO.

No surprise...treat people badly, make them the villains (I know there are a few bad apples, but most police are good people) and why would anyone want to go into a profession where they risk their lives for others.

One bad apple can spoil a bunch. The problem isn't the bad apples but that the "good" ones remain silent when they see injustices. If they don't remain silent and tell they have broken the code. The system itself is flawed. Bad police officers should be held accountable and it shouldn't take a bunch kids being slaughtered in a classroom to see that a small few are cowards.

I spent 10 years in law enforcement 5 years as a police chief. As with Any profession there are bad apples. Bad officers get weeded out with time. But there are so many great officers on the street serving our communities. I hate how the left has turned the country against LEOs though a false a narrative. I don't blame officers for retiring early. Why would anyone want too under those conditions.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen my question is, why? What is the right so afraid of by taking a supportive stance? The Republican party as become very weak in my opinion.

SPC Jon O. They've become obsessed with extending their own power at the expense of the country so I agree. If you can't legitimately work to govern you are extremely weak.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen if they want power then govern by supporting legitimate legislation that truly supports and represents the people that elected them.
