Biden Proposes a 4.6% Raise for Federal Workers for 2023

The republicans will try to fight it. They'll argue that federal employees don't deserve it. Or they'll fight it just because the President proposed it.

Everytime the is a budget dust up, "non-essential" workers are furloughed. The government still works just fine. I say pink slip the non-essentials and there would be plenty of savings to channel the essential workers a measured increase.
