The roasts were always great. Today, they would have to change the name or something and slap people around on stage. I liked every one of those people and will never forget their humor.

Been retired for 11 years. Back in the day, the town of Stubenville would hold Dean Martin weekend in the summer. Big hero there. One day during this event while leaving the restaurant, a big car pulled up outside that was made to look like a mafia car. It was neat.

I used to love watching those roasts. As you said, they would zing anything and it was taken in the sense of humor, not a personal attack.
