Whoa that IS INFORMATIVE! I've always objected merely on the basis of what will we do with the Lithium Batteries when they reach their end-of-usability limit. The little silver ones used in electronic devices now just get thrown in the trash. They go into a landfill somewhere and then they become an environmental pollutant that I imagine doesn't decompose easily, if at all. Thus, the production and trash at end of life span are not only to produce them by these awful mining and nearly eternal waste management practices; but if this article is correct, then we will still be dependent on a different on polluting and exploitative production practices producing a garbage nightmare which doesn't solve the fossil fuel problem at all. We will still be more dependent on its use to produce them. HUH?

This is a very intresting article. I have always said that electric cars are not environmental friendly. The electricity to charge these stupid cars is primarialy from fossil plants. I don't care if someone wants to drive a Prius or Tesla. That's their buisness but dont say that they are saving the environment. That's total bullshit and mandating it is also. I'll be glad when the tree hugging misinformed democrats are out of office and we can return to some source of normal. It can't happen soon enough.
