No surprise here, on a long trip you'll spend a lot of time charging and getting a feel for different localities weather you want to or not.

Sorry, it's got nothing to do with Biden. I don't like them but electric vehicles and clean energy are the future. 130 years ago no one thought those new fangled automobiles would ever replace horses. Part of a presidents job is to guide the country into the future and like it or not that's what Biden is trying to do.
