‘America’s Tall Ship,’ Coast Guard Cutter Eagle making first ever visit to Galveston this week

"Eagle will moor at Pier 21 in Galveston and will be open for free public tours June 10-13."

I had the pleasure of visiting the Eagle several years ago during a stop in Salem, MA. I highly recommend stopping by if you have the chance.

Fun fact: The Eagle was originally the "Horst Wessel" built by German as their naval training vessel. It was taken by the US after WWII.
