When people are bullied, they sometimes run and hide, they sometimes kill themselves, and then they sometimes kill others. I don't condone what any of the school shooters have done, but I damn sure understand why they do it. When everyone else fails them and they can't fight a group of bullies on their own, they snap. School teachers and other kids need to speak up and stop bullies. I was bullied all through school by bigger kids. Now days bullies can't do it one on one. It's a damn group effort. I used to dream about taking them out one by one to even the odds. I just didn't want to go to prison for those assholes. Graduating high school at a whopping 136 pounds made me an easy target. I didn't get confidence until I finished Basic Training.

SGT Brad Baier - so was I until I learned to stand up for myself but I never went after the innocent...we've seen people in some of the most horrific conditions and yet they did not do things like this.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - My biggest regret Charlie was not taking a real ass beating while at least delivering a few good punches. They always talked about two kinds of people fight or flight. I was a flight person. I ran away from my bullies when I could. I've lived with the shame of that my entire life. Most of those ass hats are in prison or dead now, because of the way they lived. I wish I had told my dad about what I was going through so he could have taught me to defend myself. He was a boxer in the Marine Corp and a Golden Gloves Champion. I just never wanted to be suspended or expelled from school. I just never wanted to disappoint my dad by getting in trouble at school. When I go back to my hometown and see these former bullies, I just look at how pathetic they turned out. Part of me still want to sucker punch them for old-time sake, but they're not worth it.

I couldn't read the article, but from the other comments, we had bullies when I was younger, and we didn't ever hear or worry about being shot at school. To me this is coming from some place else, poor home life maybe, but my best guess would be is that they want to be recognized or be special, and all these people telling kids there are no losers' in life are the real ones to blame, never mind the media that immortalizes them.

Mother claims son was not a murderer and was a good boy. If we are to believe the Mom in this case, what made Ramos snap and turn into a mass murderer? It is a shocking tale that reminds us of Columbine.
