Nebraska governor says young incest survivors should be forced to carry pregnancy

The Republican governor of Nebraska, Pete Ricketts, has said that he would outlaw all abortions with no exception for rape and incest survivors if the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade.
He added that he will call a special session to take “further steps” to “protect preborn babies” as he deemed Roe v Wade a “horrible decision”.
“Nebraska is a pro-life state. I believe in life against conceptions and those are babies too,” Mr Ricketts told CNN’s Dana Bash when asked if he thinks a young girl who was raped should carry that pregnancy to term.

If the majority of his state doesn't like that decision, he won't be reelected.

Pete Ricketts is an absolute disgrace and I never have understood how anyone in Nebraska voted for him. For those who don't know -he's termed out. He can't run again. Rumors are he may run for Senate. The Republicans who are running aren't any better than him. Thankfully -Trump's endorsement lost in the primary (bad). But the guy who won the primary isn't much better than Ricketts. He campaigned on opposition to abortion rights and CRT.
If Roe is overturned, I absolutely dread moving back to Nebraska after I retire especially for my daughter's sake.
