I can agree with this statement from the article. Most of the other stuff is "whitewash", I think.

I think that last point is not the cause for the price at the pump but it certainly isn't helping either.

The fourth problem is the Biden Administration distanced it’s self from Saudi Arabia by canceling an arms sale arranged under Trump and made approaches to Iran. When Biden needed more oil Saudi Arabia said no then refused his phone calls.

It all started with the Biden administration if we could go back in time and stop that prices would drop about $1.75 to $2.
