Ukraine: The Great American propaganda war

This kind of reinforces a documentary I watched a while back that told of a bunch of deep state manipulation that has been going on for years. The change of power that took place in Ukraine and the under-the-table tactics that various entities were using to buffalo the public. There is no truth anymore.

He only seems to know bits and parts of the history. Ukraine is not in our security interest but the issue is not Ukraine by itself in isolation and if this was only an issue of Ukraine the United States would not be involved. However, both Mr. Putin and the head of the Russian Orthodox Church have both made it clear since the attack this is really a war against the West and it's degenerate ways (they both specifically mentioned the gay rights movement in this country). Specifically Mr. Putin made it clear the Ukraine would be the first of may pieces in his future empire, which to him includes most of the countries of the former Warsaw Pact. The head of the Russian Orthodox church has turned this into a religious crusade for his flock. So for the United States it is clearly a case of pay me now or pay me later and the bill for waiting later will probably be higher than the Cold War as Mr. Putin would have to murder a lot more people to get the former Warsaw Pact countries back into submission. Would the United States and NATO be willing to stand by and do nothing as the toll of dead mounted and would we let the pleas of the various countries fall on deaf ears? I doubt it. At some point our Democracy would demand some sort of action or intervention. In fact our intervention in Ukraine has majority support in this country given what the polls say. Could we live with ourselves if we sat around and did nothing. At what size in population, land area and global reach does Russia become a security threat?
