Adult human beings are well known for their too common inhumanity toward one another. Tragically, they sometimes focus their cruelty on children as well. It is hard to imagine how anyone could abuse a child, but that practice is widespread and includes sexual abuse.

The Catholic Church for decades is sexually abusing kids and very few clergy are charged let alone incarcerated. I conduct clinical research on this topic. I know four men in my area who were victims. And the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese initiated a compensation fund in 2001 to by the silence of these victims. The cover-up remains prevalent.
