But think of the consequences IF Vladimir Putin gets desperate and decides to air burst a "tiny" nuke over a Ukrainian town or military concentration as a way to further degrade Ukrainian resistance and intimidate them into conceding??? The West should NOT retaliate with nukes. The world will come together to condemn and isolate Russia further. At that point, NATO and the West should immediately initiate the No-Fly Zone that Ukraine has asked for and let the Ukrainians kick Russian Butt....

What we all need to learn from this is that Russia has the nuclear capability and should not be trusted with its use. Playing with mother nature can get us all killed. And now threatening to use nuclear warfare should make us aware of how careless and uncaring the Russian government is in using its nuclear capabilities. Chernobyl should remind us all of how powerful nuclear energy can be even when it is being used for peaceful reasons. It is not to be toyed with and should be strictly regulated and open to the world on how it is being used.

My son is the Safety Training Director for several nuclear power plants so I frequently hear his observations about nuclear accidents and how those are unlikely here in the US. He trained as a nuclear technician in the Navy and used his training to jump start a significant career in the nuclear industry - wicked proud, of course.
