I can see how this could easily be a problem with the laxness from public schools, many kids are not being taught at school or home about character and honor, and then the academy sends them away from the instructors to go at it on their own in a way. I am not excusing their actions, just saying the USAFA has a role to play in it also.

That unfortunately puts a stain on all the remaining cadets, those who were honorable will get painted with the same brush. When they get to the Air Force’s version of “the Fleet”, subordinates will always question whether their Division Officer is one of the cheaters…. The troops ARE watching.
