From an operations mindset, this appears a daunting task. Illegals riding those (90) buses would need to be highly incentivized to complete the trip otherwise they would likely be widely spread out along the route. Whole idea smacks of a political stunt but one born of continuing and heightening frustration.

I won't say I disagree. But the administration seems to have no problem getting them to board planes then buses to ship them all over the interior.
