I am going to be the wet blanket on this I guess. I have a concealed carry permit issued by Wisconsin. Just like my drivers license is recognized in all states, I think my concealed carry permit should also be recognized in every state. At present, it is not. I believe the current is 34. Having said that, I think proper training is important.

Reciprocity should be the normal condition when it comes to rights (particularly unalienable rights) under the Constitution. Training is always important and firearms discipline a must. By and large, the vast majority of law abiding American firearm owners are trained, safety-conscious and responsible. There are exceptions in every human endeavor and laws put in place to deal with violators.
