Not sure about that. Two weeks ago he was a nobody leading a state in decline, heading to despair.
He has certainly stepped up to the crisis with his big boy pants on. If Ukraine survives, this will have done more for Zelenskyy *and* for Ukraine than anything else could have.
Not sure about true leadership, but he is definitely the right guy in the right place at the right time.
