Wolverhampton and Northampton theatres cancel Russian ballet performances

Performances by the Russian State Ballet company have been cancelled in theatres in Wolverhampton and Northampton following the invasion of Ukraine.
Wolverhampton Grand Theatre said the decision to cancel the upcoming shows from February 28 to March 2 was “absolutely the right thing to do given the circumstances” as Russian troops close in on Ukraine’s capital of Kyiv.
This follows after the Royal Opera House announced it was cancelling a tour by the Moscow-based Bolshoi Ballet, which was due to be held in London this summer.

I am sorry that these dancers are being caught up in this mess. But perhaps more Russians will speak out against Putin. Our government will do nothing to help the Ukraine. They opened the border to criminals, they stood around and watched when people waved our flag asking for help in their freedom while BLM and Anitia burn our flag and cities. Our government basically told Trudeau to crush the trucker's convoy in Canda. I am so proud of the Ukraine people fighting and so ashamed of our country we are turning from the things that make us great in the name of unproved science and erasing our history. We have learned nothing it seems of treating people properly as Americans should.

In the scheme of world happenings, this, by itself, is not earth shattering news, but it is an indicator of broad unrest brought on by Putin's unprovoked attack on Ukraine, and people's unmistakable outrage over it! I believe We all pray for the Ukrainian people, Lt Col Charlie Brown...
