MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. I am not so sure that plan will work. Sure it might hinder Putin a bit but I fear it will not do the trick. We are seeing the actions of a Mad Man right now. I think Russia and it's people will need to get involved as to how and what Russia can and should do. Sanctions will not do what needs to be done. Perhaps a new Russian Revolution by the people is what will be needed to start a pull back from this madness.

I agree. I don't see sanctions alone solving anything. The absolute best thing Biden could do right now is fire his energy secretary, tell the far left to buzz off and then finish constructing the oil pipeline, resume fracking, reopen ANWAR drilling and get us back on the road to energy independence.
THAT is what kept Putin in check before. He couldn't afford to pursue his adventurism when oil and natural gas were cheap. . . .

The US should also CEASE buying Russian oil, and use our own domestic resources! He cut off the pipeline and ended domestic production ... to "save the earth," or some such crap. Does the guy really think Russian (and Iranian) oil he has us buyijng is LESS polluting?

I am glad there's a plan but like CWO3 Dennis M. I am not convinced this will get him to back off. He's committed Russia to this and his ego is involved...
