Wow! Pretty nifty sailing —> great video (and post). The Danmark was loaned to the US during WWII to assist in teaching seamanship. After the war, the Danmark returned to DK. Recognizing the value of tall ship training, the US claimed the Horst Wessel as a prize of war and renamed it the Eagle which is still in use today as is the Danmark.

When I lived on St Thomas the Denmark used to visit. She was beautiful sailing into the harbor under sail.
