Lt Col Charlie Brown Interesting. When was the last time the Air Force uniforms had a major change Colonel?

Probably when they went to naval rank insignia on the sleeves of officer uniforms and then back again. The other major change I Remember was to get rid of the black and white mess dress to a blue one.

Most of the recent changes have been to the BDUs. And we briefly had belts on some jackets until someone noticed most senior officers don't have waists....
