Who will get there first? China has come a very long way toward parity with the West in very short order. Soooo... How did they do it? Is China our friend? Or are they more of a frienemy?
China owes us a debt of gratitude for supplying them with corrupt politicians who sleep with their spies and turn millions in campaign donations into billions in lopsided trade deals and unwitting technology transfers that benefit China at the expense of our National Security and economy.
Sigh... When China endorses a certain party in this country and sends spies to sleep with select Congressmen on Intelligence Committees, that should be your first clue that it is a BAAAAAD idea to vote for that party. And the party's hallmark is that they never hold anyone accountable for misdeeds save for those who get in the way of their anti-American agenda.

If they try and interfere with recovery, I would think that equates to an act of war. It's our gem, not their booty.

Surely, you are not implying that Senator Dianne Feinstein's 20 year Chinese spy assistant was really her boy toy. If he was, then President Xi should award him China's highest honor.
Amazement aside, it is almost unfathomable the immense amount of treason that occurs within the highest echelons of this Federal Government and within the Ranks of Military Brass. Yet, not a one has even been investigated beyond the precursory "nothing to see here" lip service.
The illusion is about to unravel.
