For those that do not know. Todays Diesels are Diesel-Electrics and have been since they were invented almost back in the 1940's-1950's. There is no mechanical drive between the Diesel and the motors that spin the wheels. Instead the Diesel is a giant generator and the wheels are turned via Electric Motors that the giant Generator produces. So basically this is just a replacement of the Diesel Power Plant. I actually think the Hydrogen Cell Locomotives that Canadian Pacific is experimenting with probably have more promise but we'll see.

It's that time again when we get all that stuff to go to the accountant and I see something like this. Makes me wonder just how much it's going to cost taxpayers.

Yes I don't know what brand mine was My Uncle in Ca bought it for me It had trestles and I would get ti going to fast and it would jump off and hit the floor Never tore it up Probably why military did put me in demolition
