I wish no one gets COVID. I have a friend who caught it at the end of August, 2020. He spent 8 weeks on a ventilator and the rest of his time thus far in a series of nursing homes. He continues to make progress and if he further progresses may be home in early February. He had no other medical conditions but was not vaccinated. His insurance was cut off midway through his nursing home stay and we have started a Go Fund Me for him.
