Way to go sleepy Joe...you should have drawn a hard line instead of talking about "small or minor" incursions! Now we are committing troops to something you could have stopped.

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth - The President did draw a hard line in the sand. He promise sever sanctions as a minimum. What else would you have him say? Threaten to nuke Russia?

MSG Stan Hutchison - You need to reread the transcripts. He said severe sanctions for incursion but a small incursion well ok but smaller sanctions...That gave Putin the green light to decide what is major and what is minor.

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth - First, that was misinterpreted. Second, it was clarified later. Biden's policy is: invade and face serious consequences.

It was not misinterpreted...I watched the entire thing...I watched is body movements and his voice etc...he meant what he said but his handlers didn't like it so they came out later and are attempting damage control by "clarifying" saying it was misinterpreted...it wasn't misinterpreted...the Ukrainian President even commented on it. He meant what he said although it be he may not remember what he said.
If you are going to tell someone like Russia there will be consequences you need to tell them what those consequences will be. A threat without action is just a threat. It is like a mom in a grocery store telling little Jimmy that if you don't stop you are going to get it...Well my dad spoke one time and there was never any confusion as to what was going to happen...stay out past curfew, get three swings of the belt...get in trouble with the law, car keys for two weeks and you were walking everywhere you went...guess what he followed through if it happened but it only happened a few times and I got the message loud and clear. Russia if you cross that line we are going to do x and x and then follow through. Carrots don't work all the time...sometimes you need a stick and Biden isn't it. The world sees him as weak.

What is our national interest there? Deflection from domestic cesspool? Already #letsgobrandon has told Americans in Ukraine he can't/won't evacuate them (familiar?) Is this another case of Democrats being the first to vote for war, first to abandon the troops when they(we) get there and first to spit on them(us) IF we come home?
